Views dropped dractically since last week..... is it me?

My views this week had drop over 60% since this week.....I'm not sure why. I had changed my item titles to try to make them more searchable during the weekend, so I'm wondering did I do anything wrong? Did I made my items even more invisible by doing that?
Help~~~~~~Can someone check my shop titles and tags to see if there's any problem?
I would really appreciate it!

I took a quick glance at your shop and I didn't notice any problem with your titles and tags (and your jewelry is beautiful, by the way!).

I did notice something funky happen with the views for one of my items over the weekend. It jumped back to 0 a day or two after I listed it, and the views started over again. I figured it was just a glitch of some kind.

I also recently read in the forums that etsy is changing the way views are counted. They are going to filter out views by bots and automated searches, and only views by real viewers will show up. I'm not sure if that went into effect yet or not.

Yea, the same thing happened to me too and other than that, my facebook likes went back to 0 this week.....I was freaking out a little bit. If Etsy is going to filter out views by bots and automated searches, it's actually a good thing, that way I know how many people are really interested.

TinfenaStudio, I love your drawings, they are so real! Actually, before I knew about the filter thing that might have happened, I was going to blame the summer time that people are out having fun on the beach and no one's shopping anymore...

So don't worry, just hanging there and views will come back and sales will come with!

There was a problem last week with Etsys view counters... maybe that might be part of the problem? Just a thought!

I think some of this is the time of year. Not unexpected I guess. I did a craft show over the weekend and sales were terrific. This kind of lends to that thought - those people were on vacation. Won't be long until they are thinking of the coming holidays though.

How did everyone find out about Etsy filtering out bots, etc.? I didn't know about that.

By the way, your jewelry is really terrific. Love sterling silver! Hang in there.

I think it's summer's fault. As far as I experienced, every summer people complain about slow sales. ;)

Thanks for starting this thread, Pingypie; my shop was just dead in the water all of the sudden starting about a week ago. Even though I technically opened my shop a few years ago, I only started using it in March, so this is all new to me--I wasn't sure what was going on.

Same for me, though I haven't had amazing numbers before either, I started only 2 months ago and it's going quite slow for me :)

I must agree. My sales have slowed. I most definitely think that summer has a bit to do with it!

I am new but where I noticed it was in the Treasury area. Almost zilch for views.
Figured it was summer vacation and the children all being home. This does keep people awfully busy.
