That's why we’re sharing tips and tricks for promoting your shop in the Online Labs ( http://etsy.me/labs727) on July 27 at 11:30 a.m. ET. We are rebroadcasting this session due to popular demand.

This time around, we want you all to take on the Etsy Promotion Challenge! Before the Online Lab on July 27, try out a new promotional method. It could be as big as starting an Instagram account for your shop or as small as experimenting with a new type of tweet. Share your thoughts and questions in this thread or on Twitter with the hashtag #EtsySuccessChat.

Question with regards to promoting on social media.
What sort of context should we post on social media?
I have instagram and twitter and pinterest and fb, planing to start blogging and videobloging .. I am trying to post content which is not only etsy related but I am #etsy a lot do you think its good to post about life style and general day to day motivations or plans or ideas? Also with regards to video blogging ( I'm from Etsy Team Leeds) as a team we did 1 video on how to take great photos in 4 simpe steps for etsy shop..But I am thinking what other content and ideas should be recorded to bring traffic ?... I am artist and make.. at this moment nature inspired prints and soft furnishing so I had this idea of maybe blogging about how to decorate room with artwork or how to update your interiors with artwork and soft furnishing.. do you think it good idea? Many thanks in advance. XX
