Using Stumbleupon?

Okay, when you want to "Stumble" something to give them more views do you click the "I like it" button or the "Stumble" button? I'm still trying to understand Stumbleupon.

you click I like it.

the stumble button is for browsing other things that other people have stumbled. if you click that it will take you to a random page.

Or you can do a review. That is the convo bubble in the middle of the toolbar at the top.

Just make sure you are not stumbling your own stuff. Not that I think you are, but I just read another thread that the person was stumbling their own stuff and advising others to do the same. It is against Stumble Upon's rules to do that.

Thanks for the advice! I wasn't going to do that anyway, it seems cheap, but it's great to know!

It may seem cheap and against the rules, but I did try it (I am such a rule follower, I usually don't do things like this!!). Well, the day I "liked" one of my vintage jewelry pins, it showed up in Shop Stats later that day and the next day with amazing results. I had more StumbleUpon views than anything else. It died down to 0 a few days later, but it was rather interesting.

So how do you stumble your own stuff? I've just registered with it and trying to find my way around. I read in another thread that someone PUTS their stuff on stumbleupon but I can't see anywhere to put things

To like anything, your own or someone else's, go to the item and ckick the like icon.

I've joined two stumble teams and they have been great.
