Using Stumble Upon and Twitter and Tumblr to promote???

Hi All,
I wondering if you can tell me how you all use the above websites to promote your items?
With Stumble Upon, I've used it for personal but how do you do it for business? I just opened an account under my business name.
With Twitter...does it really help get sales?
With Tumblr (which I just discovered this morning) has anyone gotten any action from this site?

there's a whole team for social network promotion, if you search teams for stumbleupon it's in your face team.

I find twitter and others work better than sU, but that's just me :)
