Using Google Adwords

For those of you who have used this for advertising, did it increase your sales? Was it worth it?

I used a $50 coupon I had gotten from my web host to advertise on Adwords until it ran out. I had the link go to a particular category of prints in my shop. It appears that I got views from it, but no sales or favorites at all.

Same here....extra views but probably not worth the amount spent in a couple extra sales. If you can get your hands on a coupon though....go for it! It would be free advertising...so why not!

I have a $75 coupon from my web host which I have yet to use. Decided that I needed to increase # of items in my shop and track keyword search. With the increase in shop items, I am finally getting some Google traffic.

I had read somewhere that it is important to understand keyword search when using Google adwords.
