Twitter....anyone on??

The references to twitter are thin on here aren't they? The teams look quite small.

Is it not the best place to promote your shop. I just joined but I'm wondering if it was a good idea?

I find I have better traffic when I'm NOT just posting with listings up for sale. Posting photos of items in progress, witty comments about crafting fails, etc help me much more [and it's more fun that way]!

Twitter is a great tool, I use it daily and it's a fun way to tap into your target market's head and what they are talking about.

I have found that when I use Twitter my shop views and sales definitely increase. When I tweet items I try to do a few in a row otherwise the tweets tend to get lost among followers. I try to tweet three to four times a day when I do.

I use twitter.. https://twitter.com/TheSundayBazaar , but mostly I feel like the tweets are getting lost - Like followers follow you to draw attention to their shop, not because they are interested in your tweets. ..or they follow you to get a follow back. Loosing faith in twitter :/ as Im not getting too many shop views from there- but maybe I need to tweet more! .. Not sure, but tweeting none the less!:P

I use twitter, but it's mainly linked to my blog. I find it helps to use hashtags when tweeting about items. For instance, most of my stuff is related to Doctor Who so I use #doctorwho. That way even people who don't follow you can find it pretty easily.

I got on twitter... It seems to work when you set it to post to facebook but I definitely need more followers and people to follow so yes...go ahead and add me if you like my shop :)
