Tumblr Success?

I have had my tumblr account for about a year now, and only have 29 followers. Every once in awhile a view from there will show up in my stats. I consistently keep my shop up to date and am always liking and reblogging other members articles. I feel like when I post things on there, no one is looking or listening, and I am blogging to an empty room. Has anyone here had any success wityh Tumblr?

I am about the same, I have only 36 followers but I do get a lot of reblogs of my posts and likes and such- which I feel ultimately pays out!

Submitting to other tumblr blogs is a great tool, just yesterday I was featured and I had over 300 views on my etsy just from Tumblr.

I'd say it's worth having around, searching out other blogs (that may allow submissions) and that seem to be in a similar vein to your work and interests - I don't invest too much time into it though :)

i use tumblr, so far not much is happening, but i suppose i don't put enough effort into it :)

Wow Congrats Gemma, I've never experienced such success from tumblr yet! I absolutlely LOVE tumblr, I love the diverse visuals on it, they are so inspiring, I regularly update my tumblr; it showcases pictures which inspire me and make me smile:)
