Treasury questions

I just made my first ever treasury but it's been sitting there saving for at least 5 minutes. Is that normal? I'm afraid to close out the window incase I lose all my work.

My second quetion is on treasury etiquette. Is it not cool to put your own item in a treasury? I didn't with the one I just did because the theme doesn't fit my shop, but I'm just wondering if it's ok or not.

Mine have never taken that long to save.

I believe that the idea behind treasuries is to share the love by creating collection of other shops' items that you treasure. I'm sure it's cool to use one item or your own if it is inspirational to you. Not sure if it'll ever make the front page, but there are so many other great reasons to make a treasury. :)

I figured it out. Apparently the Treasury doesn't work with Google Chrome. I kept the window open and copied & pasted everything over to a new treasury in Internet Explorer. It saved instantly. Phew.

The treasury is called Coffee Break for anyone who wants to check it out. :)

I use google chrome with no problems, that's weird.
To your other question about including your own items in a treasury. It is in the etsy policy that you are not to include your own items in a treasury that you create. Treasuries are made to promote items that you love and help out one another. It also helps get you known on etsy as a shop owner. Have fun with them! I love making treasuries :)
