Treasury Questions

I'm a little confused about treasuries. I'm not sure if you're supposed to put your own products in your treasuries or if you're supposed to feature other shops. Please help. I've created 3 and they all feature items from my own shop. Thanks everyone.

You're supposed to put other shops' items, not your own. If you go to the treasuries and look over a few, you shouldn't see any with their own items.

You can put your items in treasuries if you want to- they are your space to play.

BUT if they don't have your own items and feature 16 different shops and look beautiful, you have a chance of getting your treasury featured by Etsy.

Sherelle, if you put your own items in the Treasury then Etsy would not choose it to feature. They encourage you to not put your items in your own Treasury.

I thought it was against the rules to include your own items in a treasury that you curate.

According to Etsy rules it's 'not for self promotion'.

Thanks everyone. I wasn't sure. I'll delete the ones I've made and start a new one. I've found quite a few shops with really awesome things in them so I'll get started on putting one together that's has my favorite things from those shops. Thanks again all of your comments were really helpful.
