Treasuries?

I just made my very first treasury and have a question: does an email automatically go to the shops whose items I've included to notify them? Maybe I just missed it!

Can you please point me in the right direction, if you wouldn't mind?

I believe you will need to notify the shops. An email does not automatically go to them.

No email or convo goes out to the featured shops. They can find it in their activity feeds, but that's easy to miss. A lot of sellers use shmetsy (shmetsy.com) tools for sending convos to all featured members instantly. It's an add-on that allows you to write the message one time and have it sent to everyone. It's awesome!

No, they are not automatically notified. You can send them an email if you wish. Some notify and some don't. Making treasuries is fun.

Everyone in the treasury will get a notification in their recent activity automatically, but you'll have to send a convo manually if you want featured sellers to be emailed. You should look into Schmetsy--a lot of sellers swear by it to help with treasuries and sending convos for them.

Anyway, keep in mind that some people just DON'T like getting convos for every treasury they've been featured in. Even though Etsy does allow it, they consider those convos spam...

Can some one please advise me on how to do a treasury.

Angie- I pick a theme and do searches, favorite items I want to add to a treasury. Click on BUY on the Etsy home page and go to Treasuries; on the right, there should be a link to curate your own. Then, I work between two different windows/tabs- one of my favorites and one of the treasury. Open each favorite listing, copy the link, paste it in the treasury window/tab, repeat!

There's probably an easier way to do this but I don't know it!
