Tough time getting views - shop critique?

My shop's been open about 6 months and I get about 15 to 35 views a day. Sometimes it seems like the searches don't pick up my items at all. I've worked hard on my titles, tags, and descriptions but I find myself wondering if I'm just not selling the right products? I'd welcome any critiques of my shop, or suggestions on how I can improve.

You are new and the good thing is, that every time you sell an item, people continue to find it in searches. I would join and SEO team - you need to change the little description under your shop name to describe what you sell, and you need to create backlinks in your listings. I would also try to get featured on blogs so you can explain a little bit more about your craft and get some exposure outside of Etsy.

I hate to say it, as you've already said you've put a lot of work into your titles tags and descriptions, but i thin they could still be improved!

Try putting the current term syou are using into teh search box. At the moment I don't see many of your terms coming up For example Watermelon art, lemon kitchen art and green ACEO painting- none of those terms come up. Try typing in partial phrases and seeing if that helps you come up with better titles. For example Watermelon Painting comes up, as does Lemon Kitchen Decor and Green Abstract Painting.

Use those more popular phrases as key phrases that you repeat in your descriptions and tags (I can see you are doing that already with the old phrases).

I wouldn't use any generic single word terms in your tags like 'bright' because not very many people are going to just type that into a search engine. You want to use ALL your tags and have them all be 2 or 3 word phrases. 'Bright Painting' DOES come up when I start typing it into the search box, so try using that instead!

Keep reading regarding SEO, titles, tags etc.

Have them critique 1 item in your shop so you can get an idea of what you need to change.

Hi Beth

Firstly, I wanted to let you know that when I checked out your aqua sky and clouds collage, I noticed that you had over 30% of viewers favouriting this item. That is a great result, I'm lucky to get 4%.

I agree with earlier posts, it is hard to find your art when searching on google.

I would try changing all your descriptions and making each one different e.g. Collage art...., Mixed media collage art... Original art... etc and just try searching yourself to see if your lisings come up. I would reduce your headling/description, so that buyers can see at a glance what you offer.
Also include your shop name in your tags so buyers can find you if they wish to re-purchase.
Also include tags such as "collage", mixed media collage" "modern art", "acrylic art", "childrens room art", "home decor"
