Too long tags

There is 20 characters long limit for tags..

So for example can i tag - "michael jackson print" like that => "michaeljacksonprint"

It's ok ? or it won't work for me in search?

Don't skip the spaces. I just did a search for some two-word phrases, without the space, and Etsy did not correct it and hardly anything was in my results. If you don't add the spaces, you might get missed in Search. Hopefully, if you have "Michael Jackson Art" and "Print" as separate tags, when someone searches Michael Jackson Print, it will come up in a search.

I was wondering something similar the other day: one of my science prints was going to get a tag with the name of the related scientist. Italian name...loong!
So I used the full last name, and the first name as long as I could make it. But - I can't find the item in search, although i have the full name in the description.
Does this mean an 'abbreviated tag' doesn't work, and descriptions aren't even being searched?

If it is something that is too long for tags, I would move that phrase to your title.
