Hi Erica! You have some great items :) You can for sure show them off even better by using natural light rather than flash to light them, maybe set up an area near a window, not with the window right behind your item in the frame (or your item will look dark and the window bright) but so the light is shining in on your item. An overcast day is often better as you don't get strong shadows then either. For the clothing its trickier isn't it! I think you need a nice background, even a plain wall, or an interesting and not too busy outdoor setting - for your style (I am thinking like and empty carpark or something really urban could be very cool), and again, on an overcast day (don't get lots of sky in the photo or it will just look grey) when you don't get strong shadows. And then you can get the whole item and more of the person wearing it into the picture too. Keep an eye on your cropping so that your photo looks good in the thumbnail too and not too much cut off.
I'm sure there are other people with more clothing photography experience than me who can help better :) But maybe that will give you some ideas to start with!
