Tips for Getting Featured on Etsy

Hi everyone!
One question I often hear from sellers on our Etsy Success social media channels and elsewhere is, "How can I get featured?”

Though the selection process differs by channel (whether you're hoping to be featured in an Etsy Finds email, the Seller Handbook, one of Etsy's social media channels, or elsewhere), there are common qualities that Etsy editors and merchandisers look for when choosing products and shops to highlight. There are so many incredible products and shops on Etsy, that we can't showcase them all, but we've put together a few tips will give your shop a better chance of getting featured. Thank you for the tips but, what strikes me first and foremost - I'm not young, beautiful and completely photogenic like the majority of the shops owners featured. (I turned 65 last month!) and my work space - is, as for many of us I am guessing - half of my garage that I've convereted. It works for me but do I want to share it with the world...probably not! So, I will continue to use what I've learned in my years of advertising and marketing and try to get my name out there more and more. I am encouraged that, although still VERY new to this - my first sale came two weeks after launch! My hope is to develop some type of following by fall and Christmas! Some of my products been featured on Etsy as soon as I improve the photos and learn about SEO and keywords. I would suggest to check Google Adwords Keyword Planner https://adwords.google.com/home/tools/keyword-planner/
It will definitely will help you to choose the right ones. Hope it's helps.

Such great advice! We were featured years ago and it was a huge boost to our business. Since then Etsy has more than likely raised the bar to be considered! We will definitely throw our hat in the ring to be one of the first stores to be featured more than once.
