Think I'll read a book

I have decided to enjoy the rest of my holiday break and relax. So for the next 12 hours...

I will NOT check my stats.
I will NOT tweak titles and tags.
I will NOT stare at my Google Analytics.

I will take a nap.
I will watch a movie.
Heck, I might even read a book.

i have a migraine...so ideally i should go and sit in a dark room before it gets worse and absolutely cripples me...but the thing about having your own business and being on etsy is its so damn addictive that you cant help it...even if i leave my laptop downstairs on purpose i find my fingers tapping away on my fone to check on things!

I am going to finish this custom order I'm working on... but then... nothing! Maybe some laundry, eat some leftovers, read my new sewing machine manual (yes, this is exciting to me:)

The last couple days have been so busy with Thanksgiving prep/the day/and then the cleanup that I really want a day to RELAX! Today seems like the perfect candidate for that!

Reading a book sounds so tempting!
Unfortunately, as a grad student in the home stretch of the semester, I have so much work to do that doing etsy is a luxury in itself...listed two prints before breakfast today, and now it is back to the papers. But once in a while, I'll check my stats!

I dunno if you ever liked playing video games as a kid (or now!) but I just read an awesome book called "Ready Player One" that totally sucked me in!

I read books while I paint!....listen to them on cd, I mean! I just listened to Eat, Pray, Love and enjoyed it. Had seen the movie but hadn't read it yet. I was listening to books on the drive to and from work each day to make the commute more bearable, but since I lost my job 2 weeks ago I started listening to them while I paint and other things, and it's fun. Better than daytime tv for sure. I love to read but have so little time for it. My local libraries have a lot of books on cd to choose from, fortunately, so it doesn't cost anything.
My stats are pretty depressing so I'm going to do something else now, and read too!
