Hi There everyone! I am going to try something new for the month of November. Every day I am going to "Hide" a coupon code within one of my listings. If you are interested in finding it, you will have to search through my listings and read my product descriptions until you find the code! I am going to try to mix things up. Some days will be free shipping, some days it will be a varying percentage off total sale for the day, some days it will be a code for a bonus mystery item to be sent with your package. I am hoping that it will generate some traffic to my shop and get me a few more sales under my belt. What do you all think?

I think it sounds like an interesting idea. Are you planning to let more than one person find it per day?
I'll be interested to see what kind of response you get to it. How do you plan to market it?

I am going to let anyone who would like to try to find it in on the promotion. Basically everyone is invited to try! I am going to advertise on my facebook and twitter pages and maybe comment about it in a few blogs that I follow. Any other suggestions are welcomed!!

Cool idea. I hope it works! You might want to find some way of getting the word out that you're having this promotion though. Alot of forum threads get buried really quickly. Maybe get people to mention it on their blogs?

Think it is a brilliant idea. Perhaps put it in your shop announcement so people looking at your shop know to look even harder?

I agree with EbonyShae - putting it in your shop announcement would be really effective. I would put it first, so that customers don't even have to click 'read more' to see it.

Also maybe include a line about it in emails/ convos that you send out this month?

I am also curious about increase traffic or sales as a result of this. It is a creative idea!
