I am finding Tags to be a problem ! I am not getting the views I would like in my shop and am wondering if it has to do with my tags or titles? Any tips to do better at tagging?

Your item is missing the tags 'bird photograph', 'bird photography', 'crow photograph' or similar terms. The idea is to try and guess the most common short phrase people will be searching for an include it. I would also suggest that most people can't tell the difference between a raven and a crow, and more people will be searching using the term raven. If you're going for a spooky theme, then raven will be much more popular than crow, and associated search terms would include thing like Edgar Allan Poe (who wrote The Raven, a classic thriller poem).

I guess what you need to do is think more like a buyer and imagine who would be buying your prints at an art show. Black and white photos of birds in classic horror poems sell well to goths. I'm not sure about the rest of your pieces though.

But Tiffany, Etsy is adamant about only using search terms that are what the item IS. If she used "Edgar Allan Poe" she'd be messing with the search results, because that is not what her item is.

I'm having the same problem Stephanie. I keep tweaking my tags, but rarely get a search from Google. My stats show most of my views are from Etsy searches. :( Not that there's anything wrong with Etsy searches, but my Views are SO LOW!

Julie- google doesn't see your tags, it sees your title and description. If you want more google views put as many key words as you can into the beginning 2 lines of your description while still sounding conversational. Give it awhile to see the change- google takes a few days- a few weeks to pick up on changes.
