Thank you so much for the tips! My shop has only been open for a week now & I already obsess over how many "views" it gets...and then pout. Just curious - do you think I should reshoot the jewelry? (I'm also working on shooting pieces on a model, which I think helps.)

Any feedback would be unbelievably appreciated. :)

Awesome tips! Thanks for writing it up in an easy to read way. As a new store I am constantly reading up on advice etc. The hardest bit is to keep on trucking, that the first sale will come.

Really great post! My favourite tip is to make what you love and love what you make. I think I would get in a right muddle if I tried to work out what everyone liked and even more so if I didn't like it myself!

Also asking other people, absolutely. I have to always remind myself not to ask my mother though as she always pulls everything apart and makes me feel it's rubbish. Mums are such funny creatures sometimes!

Melissa - I think your jewellery looks great and the photos absolutely do them justice, lovely!

Melissa i dont think you need to reshoot your jewlery at all, and i like the white background as opposed to a model. i have no doubt they you will have plenty of sales in no time! really beautiful stuff!

Thanks for this post, it has some really useful and concise tips! Every piece of advice I can get I take on board at this point, the world of selling on Etsy is so confusing and complicated sometimes! And I think everyone is obsessed about how many views their shop is getting, I know I am!
