String of numbers at the end of facebook page

Does anyone know if you still have to have 100 likers to get rid of the string of numbers at the end of a fb page?

If not, how do you get rid of them?

No that's just your Url no way you can get rid of them, it ins't in your control unfortunately.

I believe it is over a certain about to get rid of it, I don't know how much. I don't have a string of numbers and I have 254 likers.

Did you set your username? I only have a few followers and don't have the #s.

The user name was set a long time ago, definitely when you had to have the 100 likers.

We have less than 100 likers, but I have seen pages without the numbers with a lot less than 100.

I had asked a friend of mine who had such a page (no string of numbers and less than 100 likers) about it and he said he never had them, so I am wondering if FB updated so that there are no numbers any more at all for new pages (and maybe therefore existing pages can just request they be gone or go to 'change user name' and delete them?)

I will have to look at setting the username again.

Hi Lizabeth,

It's super simple to get rid of the string of random numbers so the url is easy and easier to direct others too. I'm sure you're referring to a url on Facebook that looks something like this https://www.facebook.com/LondonandGranger

Here are the steps:

1. Go to the page you manage, click on "edit page" located at the middle upper part of the page.
2. Then choose update "page info"
3. You should then see "Page Address" (this should be the second from the top) click "edit"
4. From here you'll be able to choose the page address you want, which once you do so you'll get rid of those random numbers in your URL.

And you'll have a nice clean URL!

Thank you, Felie! I think last time I checked you needed a phone number or something... or maybe I just didn't see that option! So good to be rid of MY numbers. :)
