Store is back open post earthquake!

Outgoing postage is available at a limited capacity now, so I have been able to re-open my store! It seems a strange thing to be getting on with amid all the chaos.

$5 from every sale will go to The Rotary NZ Christchurch/Canterbury Earthquake Appeal and the rest will go to helping my family and I to recover from our losses for a while. Soon I hope to increase the amount that goes to Rotary and back into helping my city to recover.

Please come in and have a look! If there is nothing you like, you could help us by spreading the word around.

I want to say a big thanks again to everyone who has had such kind words to share at such a difficult time. It may feel like you can't do anything but those messages give me a smile, and I am not getting many of those at the moment.

Well, I am so sorry for what you and your fellow countrymean, esp in christchurch area, are going through. It's just awful. I'm glad though, that some normalcy is returning bit by bit even though there is still so much havoc around you.

Thank you very much, everyone has their different ways of coping. I have already been able to donate $10 from sales which I am very happy about, I hope I can continue to donate. I'm on the very edge of the point where one half of the city still has no water or power. Feeling so lucky.

Hi, I agree, I'm in Christchurch and it feels almost tactless and heartless to box on, but what else can we do. Help where we can, as you are doing (loud applause)and try to keep things ticking along. Finding an open Post Office is definitely a challenge. I am so used to just nipping down to "The Palms" to post my parcels and grab something fresh for Dinner. Not sure if that is ever going to happen again :o( Glad you are safe :o) x
