Started search ad but not helping

I started a search add for all of the items in my shop and even with typing in some of the keywords it is difficult to find my stuff. Not sure if this is worth the 5 bucks or not. Let me know your experiences.

Nope, did it twice and it was useless.

Not heard a lot of positive experiences for search ads. I did it twice and even though I sold items, not enough to cover the costs.

I tried it too for 2 weeks. I made one small sale the first week and nothing the second. I think I broke even, almost.

I wonder if it's better to target a few items in your shop or do a shotgun effect with everything like I did. Hard to say.

I may try again sometime with fewer items and supposedly more postings and views per item.

I also tried the search ads. At first I too listed all of my items. But then I started narrowing it down because I noticed that there were a lot of times when an item would be displayed in a search whose search terms weren't really a very good match. So, there is definitely some tweaking you can do to make it better for you. But, even after all of the tweaking I did, I quite doing it and have noticed that the views and favorites to my store didn't really change. So, I think just being in the forums, selecting favorites, creating treasuries, adding sellers to my circle and just being active here are much more effective.
