If you could let me know what you think about my shop. I just got a new camera so the pics will get better. I need to find a baby prop I believe for my smaller stuff.
I would deeply appreciate some advice. Sales have falled since just before Christmas.
...and maybe fill up your featured listings area...you only have one thing there and you could have 3 more. Other than your banner (which is nice), the featured listings are the first thing the customer sees.
Ok good suggestions :) I have a cousin-in-law on Esty that does banners need to hit her up. How do I put up featured items? I have had many items in show cases, but they are not at the top. Don't know. I will work on the lighting. It is not natural at all. I just got a new computer and a new camera...hopefully they will get better. I was thinking of picking up a black fabric for background. :) Thanks so much:)
Don't use black fabric, something more neutral. That way people will pick your items to use in treasuries. Look at some other vintage shops. Don't copy but get ideas on how to "stylize" your item/setting.
I agree...no black fabric. White or light neutrals are modern and fresh. Black is a little dated. You might also want to take some close-ups of the knits on your hats. Get the details of the yarn.
To add featured listings, go to Your Etsy and next to each listing there will be the outline of a star. Click on the star next to the 3 things you want to have featured and the star will turn green, letting you know it's a featured item.
I think, for your yarn-based items, it would help if you zoom out. The composition would be clearer with margins around the model/item, so to speak. (Hope this came out clear. At 2:30 a.m., I'm never sure if I'm saying things correctly, haha.)
Beautiful items and very reasonably priced! I agree with others, you should stay with neutral backgrounds. Do you use social networks like Facebook to promote your craft? I have found it to be a great place for free promotion to your family and friends! Good luck!! ❤ Dee ❤
