Slow February?

Have these last 2 weeks been slow for anyone else?
I was getting a sale about every 3 days in Dec & Jan & I haven't had any sales in about a week and a half now. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

Not for me to be honest... I already had 7 sales in February so I am pleased.... hope it continues...

Yes, very slow. No sales in Feb for me. Yet. I didn't sell a single Valentine's day item, very disappointed. But I'm moving on to Mother's day. Changing tags and so on. I hope it will pick up soon.

Soooo slow! Tons of favorites, hardly any views at all (one day I had 80 favorites and 10 views), and no sales. Pretty sad! I hope it picks up soon.

Feb is actually picking up for me after a very slow Jan... near daily sales in the last week now. Phew, it was about time.

Everyone has different peaks and troughs though. Keep plugging away and yours will come!

January was my best month ever in income, not in the number of sales. It also put me over the 1,000 sales mark, In the past 10 days I have had a lot of views and favorites, but no sales. I'm working on my last custom order, and taking the time to try and build up my stock.

Nope, february is not slow for me.
I sold 7 items so far this month (on a monthly average of 10).

February is better than January. However this year it is way down from last year.

I don't have previous Januarys or February's to compare to, as our shop became what is was now last summer. Sales have been steady for us, and for that we are pleased. With our product line, however, holidays are the big boom. Depends what items you offer - gift items will trend around holidays - everyday and luxury/"want" items come & go (and I imagine those items were down as everyone's budgets recovered from the holidays). I've always heard people talk about Jan being slow for many because everyone's credit card bill comes due.

Keep at it - use down time to improve things in the shop that you wouldn't otherwise get time to do :) Best of luck to all!

February has been going well for me. But we all have our slow times. Use this time to produce more items and spiff up your shop!

Slow February for us, too, but January was great. And all it takes is one big sale to turn the month around, so hang in there. Always a good time to stock up on inventory as others have said. I'll start worrying when I have nothing left to do, which I don't see coming anytime soon. :) Good luck to y'all!

I opened on the 1st February, I had three sales in the first week, now hardly any views and certainly no sales, boo hoo

It's been slow on Etsy for me. Very few views/favorites and no sales yet. I thought it was going to pick up but nothing. But I have had 3 sales elsewhere this month. So I'm using my slow time to work on new products and to phase out my scarves.

Oh so slow in sales, however, my views have really picked up! I'm spending this time redoing my titles and soon product descriptions. And sewing...sewing up a storm! As soon as the weather clears, Ill be redoing all my photos as well. Best I can do is sharpen up my shop and get organized for the rush that I hope happens :) And nice shop Meridith, your makeup bags look really well made and I love the fabric you choose! My February is looking better than January at this point. I've had 11 sales so far and my views have been comparable to November & December views. I had no sales today (so far, the day isn't over yet!) and I'm actually enjoying a break from packaging orders. Although I did package yesterday's sales this morning because I was going to be away from home all day today. I had an inquiry convo about delivery times today so we'll see if it turns into a sale.

Valentine's Day has been very good for my shop this year. I have no complaints about "Hallmark holidays."

I have yet to have a single sale this year period, but February has still just begun. Fingers crossed and lots of work to put into this.

Does everyone get more foot traffic via weekdays than weekends? I average about 90-100 page views on weekdays and 20-40 on weekends. I would think people would be at home surfing the net---but I guess people are more bored and surfing the net while at work instead :P

I've had a few sales this month. Hoping for even more this upcoming week!

Jillian; we have a 6 hour lull on a US Sunday afternoon/early evening (which is the middle of the night for us) lol It's quite specific but it's been happening like that for months!

It seems slow combared to last month. I've had 6 sales so far this month and last month I had a good 10-15 at this time. I think everyone is getting over cabin fever honestly.
I also started selling ribbon in my store and that was a huge hit. I had to start ordering more because it was so popular. I also had a lot if Valentines day sales. This month I haven't sold as many because they weren't sure if they'd get it in time.
