In two weeks, HeyMichelle and Steph Cortes from NerdJerk will be hosting a shop critique session in Etsy's Online Labs. If you're interested in having your shop critiqued, please post in this thread.
***Be sure to let us know what you'd like us to look at within your shop!***
I'd be interested in having my shop critiqued... I'm trying to be multi seasonal but always wonder if it makes for poor cohesiveness within my shop... Thanks!
Anything you find very wrong would be good to know!! Mostly prices and if I need to make it more cohesive, which I have been working on. My sales are so up and down one week I make a lot the next week nothing? Thanks
I think my shop is a good example of a relatively new shop. I need to improve my SEO, photos, look. Would love to help more people through this critique process!
I would also love a critique.. I'd love a look at my tags and SEO.. I seem to have only one really working, so I'd love to know how to boost up the rest as well!
How can I convert my views into sales. I'm featured in treasuries all the time, and I've been on the front page twice (USA and Europe). How do I take this exposure and turn it into sales? Is there anything I can do that requires me to spend the least amount of money possible :)
Also, how do I go about finding my market within Etsy? I know most sales on Etsy are from previous Etsy members. How do I reach them in such a crowded hair accessories category?
I think my shop does "ok" but I feel it has so much more potential to really "take off"- if I had some guidance. I've made the leap & quit my day job- now I have no choice but to give my Etsy shop my all. I would love to be critiqued on my tags, titles & SEO. I also feel my descriptions are so BLAH! Help!! (waving hand in air frantically *lol*)
First question is about my photos. I have been having professional photos taken since I was so unsuccessful with getting good ones myself. Was it a good move? Are they working?
Secondly, I know some variety of types of products is good but is mine too varied? Should I remove the premade scrapbooks?
I would love for my shop to be critiqued. I'm a fairly new seller and only have 7 sales so far. I think my shop has great potential but I feel that something is missing. It would be nice if you could figure out what the missing component might be.
I would love a critique. Any advice you could give me would be valued, especially on how to get more views, SEO, tags, and titles. I have only a small shop, but will keep working on adding more items.
I would love a critique. I'm a little worried about shop cohesiveness as the style of my photos varies quite a bit. I want to know if I should do all the photos the same, or if what I have know still ties together and works. Also my titles are really long to get hits from search, but I'm worried that is unappealing for customers.
