Showcase--What To Feature?

Good morning, all:

Yes, I've already heard the dreaded 'oh, so you've decided to do a showcase...good luck with that' comments. Despite all of that, however, I'm still going to give one a shot on Sept. 6. So...my question is...what best to feature for those that have had 'successful' showcases? Surely, there must be a few of you out there who've had some success with a showcase. Anyone, anyone? Also, being new...I'm willing to get my name out there any way possible.

What sort of item(s) should I feature? The attention-grabbing, a-little-bit-higher priced items...or the not-so-expensive, more-likely-to-equate a sale items? Or, do I meet somewhere in the middle.

I'm also planning to add many, many, many more listings prior to Sept 6.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Showcase--What To Feature?

I have used the showcase many times and did not have much luck. Two or three views each time...maybe. However, you may be much more successful. You can use the showcase to attract traffic to your shop, so I would suggest you first showcase your most attractive item. Did you know that you can switch items. You can have one item showcased for a couple or more hours, then switch to the next item and so on. That way you can showcase several items in one day.

Good luck!
