I am Dutch too, but started on Etsy in 2006 and have always run my shop in English. I am not aiming for the Dutch/Belgian (I live in Belgium now) market, but for the worldwide market. Approx. 95% of my customers are located in the US.
You could change your name, yes.
And while you're at it, you might stop calling yourself a 'little' artist. I find it disheartening when women refer to themselves as small and unimportant. But okay, that's just my point of view.
Think about your new name carefully, because Etsy only allows you to chance it once!
(I had this shop name, William's Giftshop way before I even opened an online shop and boy, do I wish I had never gone there. I wish I'd called my shop 'Made by BeaG'. But since both my shop/products and William (the recycled jeans bear in my avatar) are so well known all over the internet, I would ruin my branding by changing it.)
Once you have changed your shop name, your old shop name's url will redirect to your new shop name. So there won't be a problem with old links
For instance: in the first years on Etsy our shop names were the same as our user names. So my shop name was BeaG.
I still make use of that on my business cards, etc., because it is shorter: BeaG.etsy.com. It redirects straight to my shop, even though that is now called WilliamsGiftshop.
In my business correspondance I talk about 'William's Giftshop at BeaG.etsy.com', to avoid confusion.
Good luck!
