Shop remodeling questions

I want to remodel my shop including a name change. When I first opened it last year I was going to sell fondant/gumpaste figures. Well, I sell polymer clay figures so the name doesn't quite fit. My husband thinks I should open another shop. What do you guys think? Should I remodel or just start another shop? Thank you in advance for any advice. I really appreciate.

Sweet does not have to mean sugar. And your figures are pretty sweet looking. You are very talented. It is really up to you though. I would do the name change first. Why give up your stats and sales and such.

Thank you for the advice and the compliment. I am thinking the same thing as you. He is thinking that if I change, people might get upset. I see it as making much needed improvements to my shop. Thank you again for your reply.

I agree with the person above.

Also, during a very brief look at your shop, I noticed you use a satin or shimmery fabric as a backdrop in your photos. That's very distracting aesthetically. Maybe switch to a muted fabric that doesn't have a shine to it when flash/lighting is used.

I think the name is applicable to your shop the way it is now...I agree with ewe above. Sweet doesn't just apply to sugar.

I vote for a remodel and keep the name. I like your name and think it fits well with your items you make. Your banner looks more" bakery" like though..maybe just update that and see what it looks like.

Thank you for the replies. I agree with the suggestions. I have an appointment with a professional photographer and my sister is helping with the banner. I'm glad you guys like the name I really don't have another picked out. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
