Shop rearranging.

I've been wondering if I should rearrange my shop lately, specifically by color. Since a lot of my jewelry is really bright, I thought it might be kind of nice to group them together by color. I'm worried my pages just look all over the place with all the different colors.

Is this wise, or should I continue to just rearrange as I go along with no real pattern?

I actually really like the colored scattered around. Maybe rearrange your sections into colors? Or rearrange your shop into colors and see how it looks. You never know until you try, and you can always change it back.

I know it's not what you were asking, but I took a look to see these color groupings you were talking about. The first thing I noticed was that everything looked "washed out" or over-exposed or something.

My suggestion would be to find a different photography set-up and start arranging your new pictures together at the top of the list - grouped by color works. Let your current listings settle to the bottom of the list until you get those pictures updated as well ... then move them into appropriate groups.

You might also consider arranging by type ... group all the earrings, necklaces, etc ... or consider arranging by sets, put matching earrings with complimentary necklaces, etc.

Everytime I rearrange my shop I add new listings and it gets all messed up again. It's a vicious cycle.

Have you ever heard of a fashion jewelry store called Charming Charlies, they are scattered through out the USA and extremely successful. The first time I went into their store I was blown away, everything is arranged by color. I spent over an hour browsing the different colors, and groupings, and spent $100!!! All impulse buys.
