Shop organization

Hello!

My shop is mostly pillow covers and I wonder sometimes whether it makes more sense to organize my sections by pillow size or by dominant colors in the fabric. As you can see in my shop there is a wide variety of pattern and color combos and I like to pick fabrics that I enjoy. I figure that if I were shopping for cover's I'd be looking to replace existing covers on pillows I already owned so size would matter but I know color is also very important for searches too. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I hope to get my shop up to the 100-150 items size so want to make it as easy to navigate for customers as possible.

I like to group by color, I think that it's eye appealing and easier for the consumer. But it all boils down to personal preference. Your items are beautiful and well photographed, maybe try one page in a color scheme and see how you feel about it. I am constantly tweeking my shop to get the ideal balance that makes me happy and my customers...

I like the current shop sections. They're well organized in my opinion. But if you're looking for another kind of organization, you can list them according to the patterns used. One section will include stripes pillow sheets, another will include floral patterned pillow sheets.

I prefer by size, there's nothing more frustrating than falling in love with a design that isn't in the size/shape you need.

I prefer size as well. As a HUGE consumer of pillow covers (I love fabrics from India and have used pillow cushions all over my house to reflect that) I first search by size, then browse the various colors and patterns available in the size I need- you are right, usually I pick pillow covers to cover throw or other pillows that I already have since my couch is made without attached cushions and has just a wide array of throw pillows from gigantic to small on it. I love the way yours is already organized and your covers are very nice, by the way.

You could have shop sections that go by size and then arrange the items on each page by color if you are so inclined. That'd look cool. But you have a lot of bright, multicolored covers so I am unsure if that would be possible, really. Anyway it looks good now how it is.
