Shop avatar ideas?

Hi all,
I have been trying to think of a new shop avatar and having trouble coming up with something I like. Any thoughts or ideas?

I find it helpful to show what you are selling. I often click profile pics, because I am curious on their shops. The image has to have good contrasts.
But I also like a nice pic from other people personally. I recognize special and nice pics easier. But this is just my own opinion and behavior.

Truthfully, I do really like the one you have now--it shows what you do but since your hands are also in there, I feel that it's has care taken with it and it's handmade :)

But...if you want to change.... :P .... I would definitely keep to your product. Perhaps this one?

Something to keep in mind with your avatar. When I post a link to a shop on Facebook, it is the avatar that is the picture. So if you have a picture of a product, they'll see that as the link picture. If its of you, or some cartoon, or something, that's what they'll see.

Now, that's not the same as posting a link directly to an item, in that case, it is a picture of the item.

I posted this one during the "handmade" episode on etsy. I like it, but it seems kind of boring. I like the ones with color that stand out. But, with logs, guess there isn't a lot of color. I hadn't thought of it matching it to FB and all my other sites. Good thinking on that. I will keep it until I am ready to change it all over the internet. Thanks for the thoughts. :)
