Last week, I started a thread to help you find a partner to critique your shop policies. Today I'm back to encourage all you Successers to find a pal to critique each other's profiles.

Cathy, your profile tells an awesome story! I just wonder if there's anyway to condense it a little bit? Some might not hang with you long enough to finish reading. I did love reading about your family and what drove you to do what you do and to be on Etsy.

You have some really beautiful items. I think you could probably tell a little bit more of your "story" in your profile - letting people know how you got into/what made you fall in love with what you make to help people connect with you more. Also, I noticed on one of your listings that you mentioned you use a green process - I would definitely mention that on your profile as it would help you stand out from others.

Thank Ashlee! I know I am thinking the same thing it's way to long in my opinion. I have some tweakin to do! lol and Thanks to you to Beth, I will look at those points and appreciate the input.

@ Ryan Nicole - I love your shop!!! So beautiful. I love the pictures that you have that are just the jewelry with the doily. I think maybe to give your shop a more cohesive look it might be nice if every one of your first photos was close up with a doily then the rest of the pictures could be whatever you think goes well with the piece. I just think that shops look very put together if the first pictures all kind of relate. Also, maybe some more color in the banner would be nice? Overall I think it looks great. :)

I really like your profile - it's short and sweet yet tells a bit about you. The only thing I can think of is maybe add what sets you apart from others? There are a lot of invitations on Etsy - tell what makes yours unique.

Ashlee I just went over your shop and I think it's just perfect. It's very welcoming and tells exactly what is needed to know more about you and your shop. I can't say I'd change a thing :)

Ryan ~ I think what you share in your profile is awesome! I would suggest breaking it into smaller segments to make it easier on the eye to read. :)

@ Bree - I love your shop! I love how all the colors are so bright! I really love your profile too. I think its incredibly brave and wonderful how open you are. You've given the accessories your make a good purpose and I think that draws customers to shops the most.

I think that the last paragraph though might be a little bit of extra info. I see you have a blog too... ive dropped a link to my blog and asked people to come over if they'd like to learn more about me and my shop and then have a great "about me" page there on your blog where you can really share more.

@ Christa - haha, thanks for the shop critique too! Im working on updating all my photos and still have a few straglers... but thanks! I was wondering how the photos with the dioly's was looking.

@ Priscilla - oh, thanks! good suggestion.. i didnt realize i just had one chunck like that. I agree it'd look better broken apart. thanks! Loving your shop too... how are you taking your photos? are you using a light box?

@ Melanie See - I think you should change your first paragraph. It seems a bit passive aggressive. It feels to me that you were annoyed that they were saying you should do this for a living. I doubt you were so I'd reword it. Make it seem like people were encouraging you and not pestering you.

That link also seems a little soon in the profile. The colour blocks off the rest of the profile. I don't really want to read beyond it (Which means the bright coloured link is working) so the rest of your profile is ignored.

You have a lot of nice stuff below the link. I like the bit about your sons. I get it see monster it's cute. I think liking shiny things is very relate able.

The twitter link seems like it should be to your own twitter and not a teams. This is your profile talk about yourself. Add the team twitter after your own.

I do think you need a bit of a re-write but you have a good base of things to write about.
