Shop Owners

Since we are in Holiday mode, I thought I would ask who out there makes seasonal items and if you rotate them in and out of your listings as the seasons change? I always wonder what I should do with my seasonal items and how early/late I should post them. Let us know what you like to do for your shop!

Re: Shop Owners

After years of experimenting with this, I now just leave my holiday items in my shop all year round. I've sold many Christmas items in the summer! I generally move them to the end of my shop at the end of the year, but buyers still find them. As far as when to list them, I start as early as September and am still listing holiday items now. I wish you the best, Megan!
(I am a vintage seller so it may be different for handmade...)

Re: Shop Owners

Same here. I was listing seasonal items only 2 to 3 months before the actual Holiday. And not as many sales as leaving them all year long. So now I have all seasonal items listed in my shop all the time.

Re: Shop Owners

I don't really sell holiday items, but i do sell lots of hats, a lot of them heavier wool ones. I keep them up all year round.
