My biggest challenge during the past year as an Etsy seller has been getting more exposure for my shop, and consequently, a greater opportunity for sales.
I started with an assortment of items since I wasn't sure what would sell. After my first anniversary evaluation, I narrowed the list of items in my shop to handpainted silks – in particular scarves, tops and dresses.
I plan to move the screen-printed items – such as t-shirts, pillows and tea towels – to another Etsy shop in due course.
I am currently working on a line of exclusive hand-painted wedding gowns and accessories and would like some feedback before I begin posting the new listings sometime in mid June.
I would appreciate a professional critique - Thank you!

I am quite confused. My jewellery is going off on other websites (and the price is higher). In beautiful boutiques (have had 4 orders this week from boutiques). Lots of people 'favourite' me and my items on Etsy yet no one buys. I just dont understand why Etsy is not working for me.

I'd love to have my shop critiqued. It's brand new (launched one week ago) and I'm fairly confident about the photos and the products themselves--I've had lots of views and favorites, but not many sales. Looking for key points that might help persuade visitors to buy (i.e., should my descriptions be more detailed? Are my policies turning them off?)

My greatest challenge so far is with giving my shop a more defined
direction and identity.
Recently I changed the photos depicting my clothes using a young model
and going for an urban stile. I feel unsure about this change
