Hi everyone in Etsyland!

I am new to this team and I guess still fairly new to Etsy (I joined/opened my shop in February of this year).

I would just really like an honest opinion on my shop. I take criticism well, so please, be honest!

I sell custom/personalized hand painted wooden gifts - on my signs, all of the lettering is hand painted and no vinyl lettering is used.

Some of your photos could be brightened up a bit, but hey, you have good sales! You must be on the right track :)

Thanks Amanda! Every once in a while I try to redo some older photos - I did that with a bunch a while back.

Lovely shop :) I only noticed a couple of things I could comment on...
1. Some of your signs are photographed from a sideways view, and I would personally like to see them from a direct view. I don't know if it's just me, but I'm less inclined to click on the listing just to see what it says. I would be more interested in them if I could see what they say from the first picture.
2. Your photos could stand to be slightly lighter. Check out FotoFuze. This is a great website for lightening up your photos, and you can list the photos straight to your etsy from there.

I agree with Kaylyn. The side view shots of your signs is a bit distracting. I believe the straight on view for a sign is your best bet. And just a few items need to be lightened.

I was trying to get a little variation by having some different views as the main photo. I always take a straight on shot of each item, which is on the listing - I just don't always make that the first photo.

I did change one of my featured items to reflect that because after taking a second look at my main shop page, I did notice that it was kind of hard to read - so thank you again for the feedback :-) I value it!
