Hello! I'm pretty new to serious business on Etsy. I've been noodling around making a few sales here and there, but now I'm thinking about making this into a profession, and I'm ready to get down to business. So, even though my shop is incredibly small at this point, I was hoping some helpful people might oblige me with a critique.
Things I know I'm doing wrong:
-No banner! I'm having a friend do it and I don't have the pictures yet to do exactly what I want.
-No product! Working on that one too. But I was hoping for a critique while my inventory's low so that I don't have to go back and redo everything later when I have 40-50 items.
Things I'm interested in:
-How are my pictures? I've tried to improve on the three most recently listed items, and I'm not sure if I've done well or not.
-Do my descriptions make sense? Are they too wordy? Do they provide enough detail?
-How about my profile/shop info pages? Are they coherent and sensible?
-Do my prices seem reasonable?
-Are my titles OK?
-Any ideas on creative marketing? With such a specific, un-artsy product, it's hard to be involved in treasuries and the like. So far I hand out business cards, pester people in pet stores, try to stay involved in teams and on the forums, and update Tumblr and Facebook regularly with product updates.
Thanks in advance!
