HI! I would appreciate any advice or suggestions you may have on how to improve my shop and increase views. I am working on updating my listings, tags, and photos and finding ways to promote outside of etsy. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!

Your tags are great, but you need to have your titles reflect the same as your tags. Those will help with search. This listing needs to have it shown on someone's wrist.

As for promotion, I use Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter.

I looked at this listing. The photo you have used is very nice but try to use all 5 photos available. Photograph the sleeve on a coffee cup, in a box ready to ship, etc.

And if you haven't completed your about section, be sure to do so.

Lovely items! Just a couple of thoughts - I wonder if the white / silver colored items might show up better if they were photographed on a dark background. I agree with the suggestions to have all bracelets displayed on a real wrist for one of the photos. I think if I were buying one, I'd also like up-close pictures & description of the closure/fastener.
Also, what the item actually is "bracelet," "wristwarmer," etc. I believe needs to be one of the first three words and probably best if it is the first word and all other descriptive words after that.

I would really love to have a critique too! My sales are very slowly building and I'm pretty new here. I have been doing lots of research for newbs but just not sure. Any help would be amazing!!

Hey Karen,
I think you will find with knit items your sales will increase a lot during fall, and christmas time when its not so hot out. I would focus on adding more bookmarks and bracelets during spring and summer, and more knit wearables during fall and winter. Your pictures are good.. but it would be great to see a model incorporated into some of your photos. If you don't feel comfortable modeling yourself (or don't have someone to shoot you) I would consider hiring a model. I have done so myself 4 times now and its the best money I have ever spent. Items come to life when being worn. The first time I was in search of a model I posted an ad on Craigslist and got lots of responses. I found people who were excited about my brand (and they promoted it!) and we worked our pricing that made both of us happy. I also invested in a white photography backdrop and have been working on my photoshop skills. I highly suggest looking into PLEARN on youtube for photoshop tips and tricks!! I think your shop is great, just keep listing items and start preparing and making items to get ready for fall and winter! Best of LUCK!!!
