Shop Critique - Please

Please stop by and give my shop a critique.
I started off as only jewelry and started adding other items....jewerly is very hard to sell here!
My shop name I created so that it didn't pin me down to any one type of crafting.
I get so tired of ...darn there's no activity yet.
I do get maybe 3-6 veiws a day.

(I do have another shop for just Halloween and it does nicley during the season but many items I like to do didn't fit into that shop. That is how this second shop was born.)

Thank you!

Re: Shop Critique - Please

I have taken a quick look at both your shops, and I notice that there are items in Mellow Moon that are also on Haunted Swamp, and vice a versa. There are things on Mellow Moon that would be better suited on Haunted Swamp and Vice a versa.

I know it is a cost to switch items from one shop to another, since my partner and I had that problem when she opened her shop and we had to move some items out of the joint shop and into her shop.

I would pan out on your photos a little more so that the basic thumbnail is a complete picture. The items that you have three in the listing I would only photograph one for the front photo maybe.

I like the festive background for the upcoming holiday season, but maybe during the rest of the year the background should be more neutral. I have been working on revamping my shop and it has been a chore to say the least.

Good Luck! I hope these suggestions help.

Re: Shop Critique - Please

I put some of the same type items in both shops in hopes of catching more customers. The chenille ornaments in HSD say to find more of these please visit my other shop MMS. I don't know if this is a good thing or not...?

Re: Shop Critique - Please

I definitely think you need to re-word your titles. The first few words are the most important for search so those should be exactly what you item is- a couple examples-
I didn't even know this was a print util I clicked it, so anybody looking for an art print of a Christmas cat won't eve see this. You'll get people searching "sassy cat" but who will search that? If you still want it in your title, I'd move it to the back. Something like "Art Print, Christmas cat with ornament, cute holiday decor" will get you way more views.

or this one-

to be at the front of search someone will have to search 'color my heart', but you want this to show in front when people search key chains (I'd also call this a purse charm) Try something like " Key Chain or purse charm, pink beads with hearts"

or this-

You do't have the most important word, necklace, in the title. I'd try something like "Necklace and Earring set, green jasper gem stones and beads." I would definitely mention in the title that you are sending the earrings too, I didn't know they came with the necklace until I read the description, and if somebody is shopping for both with a budget of say under 20 they'll be more likely to click knowing beforehand that they got both.

Hope that helps :)

Re: Shop Critique - Please

Interesting and I am listening!
I think I will need to change most of my discriptions based on this.
Now I'll tell you the reason I did it the way I did.... bad info?
Someone in the begining said to 'name' your jewelry, so I did... Color My Heart Pink.
Thanks.
