Shipping to Ireland?

Hi Everyone! Someone in Ireland is interested in my item. Has anyone shipped there? What is the best economical way?

The most economical way is USPS first class international. Upgrading to any other service easily adds $15-$20 to your shipment, but first class isn't too bad. Unfortunately, you can't print first class international labels on Paypal, so you have to go to the post office.

This is funny! One of my first sales was to Ireland. I was totally freaking out, but the shipping wasn't too expensive USPS First Class (as Ariella said).

You cannot get a tracking code/delivery confirmation on international orders. You can buy insurance if you really want to, but that will just up the cost by a lot. First class international is probably your best bet.

Don't panic if the format for the address looks "wrong"
Some Ireland addresses have a unique format.

oh gosh, yes, don't panic because there isn't a post/zip code -- we don't have them over here (well there are very general ones in Dublin but the rest of the country is code free!)

Hi, as mentioned above, we don't have post codes in Ireland. If you need to enter one (which is often the case), simply put 00000.

Irish postage system quite quick usually takes a week for my carepackages to come from California to me here in Ireland and thats with the regualr us mail I wouldnt bother using federal express they often try to make the reciever pay tax and a handling fee pure evil
