i have a customer from Taiwan who wants me to ship this to her but idk how much to charge, its just an average size bandanna, ideas of shipping cost? i cant find a estimate online

I am also finding very confusing estimates online for Australia. I have nothing to offer except for the shared frustration.

I always weigh my items together with their packaging and then look up at the postal service site how much local and international shipping to the different regions would cost.

Have you tried to do that with the USPS? http://postcalc.usps.gov/ is a good start.

I took some different sized packages with photos in them (I sell photos) to the post office and they weighed them and told me how much for domestic and international.
This works well if you have consistent sets of mailers and items.

It is always cheaper to keep it under the 2cm limit to post as a letter. This should be worthwhile for especially when you would weigh the item as well.

I definately suggest looking on the Australia Post website to find out costs and like Andrea said, weigh everything you are going to send (item, wrapping, packaging etc) so you can know what to expect when you mail the item
