Shipping Question 11x 14 Drawing

I have a 11 x 14 drawing to ship out, that needs to arrive at it's destination tomorrow. I'm planning to use USPS' express shipping option.

I don't know what box to use, though. Would you recommend a tube, or any other mailer?

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

Re: Shipping Question 11x 14 Drawing

I would recommend a round cardboard mailing tube. Don't use the triangle ones as I've heard they crush pretty easily. The thick cardboard tubes seem almost unbend able - they'd probably have to use heavy machinery to bend it! The tube I use is 18 inches long so with a 11x14 inch print you have 3.5 inches on each end to cushion. I put a rolled section of bubble wrap at each end of the tube, and the rolled print is in the middle. So far they've made it all the way to Australia this way - without any problems

Oh, and it's pretty light - about 6-8 ounces.
