September Goals

New month = new goals. What would you like to get done this month?

Here are mine:
1. Blog 3x week
2. Create a treasury 1x week
3. Interact w/ teams at least 1x day
4. Audit listings for SEO & relevancy
5. New banner and avatar
6. Create coupons and thank yous
7. Complete holiday designs
8. Add at least 10 new items to the shop
9. Prepare for sale on old inventory
10. Re-read Craft Inc & workbook
11. Have fun!

I have ME and am just trying to go back to work for a few hours a week following a year and a half off. If I can add even a couple of items this month it will mean that I am coping well with the exertion, so fingers crossed! x

My goals for this month:

Get at least ONE SALE.
List a few new items.
Finish a baby blanket Im crocheting.
Make 20+ more bracelets and earrings for the craft show October 1st-2nd.
Crochet a few more scarves.
Make 4 bracelets for a friends baby shower.
Finish re-tagging and retitling all of my items.

It's so helpful. I need to probably revisit it again before holidays start!

My September goals are aggressive/ambitious.

Since I made my first 5 sales in August, one of the slowest months, my goal is to get quite a few more in September. I'm going to put it out there that I am going to get 20 sales in september. Yup, I said it was ambitious.

-Also, going to get all new photos done and up
-List 4 items I have already finished and just need photos of
-launch 2 new products (one is a "calendar" that needs to get up asap for xmas but is time consuming to design)
-blog 3x's a week (so bad about this!)
-3 treasuries per week
-revisit listings and try new things with tags and keywords for SEO.
-make more business cards
-follow my daily schedule

My goals:

1) Try to get at least as many sales as a I did in August.
2) Add Thanksgiving items (working on some quilled cards this week!).
3) Create 3 treasuries a weeek.
4) Improve photos. My last set of photos was pretty mediocre. But it's getting harder now that summer's ending and it's getting darker sooner.

I am having a live event sale in mid September, and many previously listed shop item will be available at deep discounts.

REINVENT my newly acquired home office space and start creating some one of kind pieces.

CONTACT facebook and find out the how's and why's of separating my personal page from my shop page...I would like to use the funtions of Wanelo but cannot for the life of me sign in without entering my personal facebook info....grrrrrr.

PAYBACK some of the wonderful treasury curations that have featured my shop.

1. Meet my sales new goal for Sept. (I surpassed my Aug. Wohoo!!)
2. reshoot photos on a few items that could be better represented.
3. Do a better job of trying to stay motivated and keep my goals in mind even when I'm tired.
4. Find a better (more affordable) source for packing materials.

My first goal is to sew for a few minutes everyday, even if my hand. (GASP)

I want to list 1 new item per day or 30 total for the month. If I follow my first goal, it should happen.

I only have one major goal for September. This will be my first time juggling coursework and Etsy, so I would like to find a happy medium between the two. Since I'm taking a full course load, this means less thread posts and more homework :/

My goals for September:

-Survive my first craft fair
-Complete my sencond Breast Cancer awareness event with the Dizzy Owl Pink Ribbon line (75% of all money from the line goes to the charity find a few of the items here:

-Retake pics for most if not all of my items
-List all of the backstock that i have not gotten to yet
-Create several new items for the fall/winter season
-Keep up with my Tumblr account and update the facebook page more regularly
-Create more treasuries (ive only done 1 or 2, im slacking terribly)
-Get back to being more involved in my teams and join a few more

Make some more sutffed owls
Make & list 10 flower themed cell phone cozes
Make & list 10 hats
Continue to participate in team treasury promotions
Read the book I bought on how to take the best pics to sell items
Set up & use the light box I just bought

Wow, cassandrastephanie, those are ambitious goals. I have a few:

1. Have 40 total listings by the end of the month (not sure how many I'll have to add, hoping that some might sell)!

2. Create my very first treasury.

3. Photograph the latest finished items so I can list them.

4. Knit something else besides hats! My summer has been full of hat knitting. I'm ready for mittens, or baby sweaters, or something else.

- Add an item that isn't seasonal

Goals:

2. Sell at least one item per week. I got my first 2 sales in August so I was happy about that and now I want to make it grow
3. Once my business cards are delivered, send them to friends around the world to distribute
4. Find a good way to package my jewelry
5. Make tag for the package
6. Make labels that say "Made in Mogotes" to sew to the inside of the bags
7. Find some craft shows to do nearby

10. Promote, promote, promote like crazy.

riversongrapture, have you ever tried asking for packing materials on Freecycle? My brother is an avid online shopper, and can't bear to throw away his packing peanuts, boxes, etc. We've listed bags and bags of them on Freecycle and they always get snapped up.

Me, I'm always looking for small boxes that I can use to pack and mail my catnip toys. I hate to purchase something like that new, not just because I'm frugal, but because I don't like to see existing materials going to waste. I'd rather recycle if possible.

1. Try to make one sell to earn back listing fees.
2. Add at least 5 new autumn and Halloween paper earrings.
3. Increase my view count via promotion.
4. Continue messing with tags and key words.
5. Move a couple earrings to different categories to see if that increases traffic.
6. Try to create at least 3 quality treasuries a week.
7. Start looking for holiday craft fairs to sign up for before they sell out.
8. ENJOY creating my earrings and the wonderful Etsy community!

My goals for Septmeber:

-Finish putting yarn up int he store
-Card more wool (oh lordy, I have a lotof it!)
-Spin more yarn!
-Take more (and better!) pictures
-remember to add new items every day
-remember to cross-post new listings to live journal and facebook every day
-get a nice banner for the store
-improve the descriptions of the items

And I can't think of anything else at the moment, but given that I didn't sell anything last month, September has to be an improvement, eh?
