Second Store

I previously opened a second shop but just did not have the time to work it so I closed it soon after. Etsy saves all your shops.

I am more prepared this time and almost ready to reopen the second shop. The only problem is etsy posts the open date. I'm worried it would appear the shop was open for year without any sales.

Do you think I should just start new and open a 3rd shop?

I don't think it really matters. If someone wants to buy something, I wouldn't think that date would discourage the sale. When I actually turned my shop into a real business, I reserved three other shop names on here just to make sure that nobody else would get them. If I ever use them in the future, those dates will just be associated with my hobby becoming a business.
