I am paying for the ads but I can not find my cards. there are empty spaces for ads. I got more views before I started the ads

I don't see them either. Do you have you keywords filled out? I've only done the ads once, so I'm not too much help.
I did see your listing first, of the regular items, when I searched "christmas green embossed".

I notice you don't have the word "card" in the front of most of your listings. That will hurt you in the regular search results.

I just started paying for ads yesterday, I come up on the first page of results but not in the "sponsored" section. It brought me 2 out of 133 views yesterday so we'll see how it goes!

I just looked at your shop and so tried Christmas cards for a search- I didn't see any from you. Since I have done quite a few ads I learned a few things. 1. Only pick specific items from your shop, best sellers is usually best 2. Only pick a few 2-3 max 3, Use as few and as specific keywords as you can, having 5 or more you pay for impressions that don't get you any views 4. The more you spend, the more impressions you get. If you spend $5, you may not get seen until page 8 in a category that's flooded (I know- I sell jewelry which has over 3 million listings) 5. Renew your search ad items often

Sorry- also I noticed that sometimes the word card in your listing is the third or fourth word- Etsy cuts off after a certain number of characters so the word card may never even be seen. Mix up your titles a bit so the word card is closer to the front of the listing title. Like Handcrafted Card - Blue and White

I sell jewelry in this shop but at least one of my items appear on page one but not in the sponsor box.if I search for rose gold.
In the card shop if i search for specifics my cards show up.

okay when I search for snowman earrings I do not show up but if I search silver snowman, one shows up on page 1 and 2 on page 7 none in the promotion boxes. I saw the same things in the promotion boxes on different pages. I thought I would try the ads again but it looks like they are not going to as useful except to get me higher in the search engines.

Search ads may be a newbie tax to some- to me it's exposure and eventual sales. If you know what you're doing, you can make it work to your benefit.

I still can not find my cards in the promo section or under Christmas cards and I only promoting the cards. I can find them in the regular section page 6 and higher and only if I type in specifics.

I search through 20 pages under Christmas card from Carolina Devine Design and not one of my cards was found?????? So What am I paying for phantom ad???
