Same item in more than one shop section?

Anyone have their listings in more than one shop section?

I'm going to add a new section to my shop, it's going to be men's/unisex. I don't want it to be just men's because my more masculine items are actually unisex, women wear them too, but I'm hesitant to take items out of my bracelets and necklaces sections. I'm afraid some women might not look in the men's/unisex section, so I'm thinking of putting the unisex items in both the men's/unisex section and in their original sections.

I'm not in love with the idea of having the same item in two sections, it doesn't seem as neat and tidy to me, but I'm not sure what else to do. So I was hoping to hear from other people who have done the same thing.

Do you mean listing the items twice?
I don't think you can list one item in two shop sections.
I know the struggle - I wish I could too.

But I personally think your sections look great as they are now.
You don't need to specify them by gender, I think.

You can't put items in more than one section on Etsy. I wish we could - I have items that would fit well in more than one place. I do that on my Indiemade site, which makes a huge amount of sense.

And yes, I meant list an item twice, so pay two listing fees. Not one of a kind items, but items that I have more than one of or can make again.

Amy, when I have more than one made of our scarves, I will create 2 listings and place in different sections. I have a boxer scarf listed in 2 sections right now, but I do have 2 of the scarves made and ready to ship. We are so low on inventory at the moment that I figure every listing helps.

I do the same thing with two different shops that I have. I hand paint ornaments and a few fit into both shops that I have... I title and tag them in slightly different ways for each shop. Since I have multiple items, I see no problem with multiple listings.
