SEO tool - Have you Seen this Relevancy tool?

Hello to all - :)
This tools has been helping me tons and I see a lot of group members needing seo help - this helps with just that - and you do NOT need an account and it does NOT need any login info - ;) The person that developed this software is a genius if you ask me.

Put your shop name in under the "are my listings relevant"
and then put the phrase or keyword your want to test and see your placement in etsy search for under the "phrase tag" I like to put in 20 pages and also sort if by relevancy (then do recency) some buyers do sort by recency!)

example : if you put in my shop "featherswholesale" and then put in "feather extension" for the products I carry here (my main phrase search)
you can see my placement for etsy search for "feather extension" make sure you are on page 1 of your search - and use the tool to gather ideas how to make your products more relevant.

Your keywords are fine. Your listings should be found for the keywords you are using, whatever they are. The tool is new and needs work.

The truth is that there are over thousands of listings for most keywords which is a lot more than 20 pages of search results on Relevancy searches. Your listings are included beyond the first 20 pages if you do not see them within the first 20.

I just tried the tool using "kraft tags" as the keywords. I sold several sets of these tags in May so my relevancy should be okay. The tool said my shop had no listings out of over 9000 (I have six). I typed "kraft tags" into Etsy's search box and one of my kraft tags listings is on the first page and another is on page 4. I really wouldn't be concerned if this tool isn't finding your listings.

Tried running many of our tags, from wire wrapped to the names of the various stones we use to the various types of jewelry we make (i.e. nursing necklaces), and this tool found none of our work within the first 20 pages. Since I doubt many would look beyond 20 pages, that leaves our jewelry out in virtual outer space.

Quite frankly, I can not think of any other way of honestly and fairly tagging our pieces - what they are, what they are made from, - - - - is there so much jewelry out there that it is futile for a small shop to get any attention? Really could use any help you all could bring to us.

I'm having problems with it, too. It showed one of my items on 2 pages like Amy mentioned above. More troubling is that it showed no listings for Swarovski crystal in my shop. I have 3 bracelets with that phrase in the title and tags. Is it because they aren't showing up in 20 pages? Or is there another explanation?

DesertDabbler, there are over 285,000 items if you search for Swarovski crystal. I didn't look for your items, but with that many items you are not likely to be found under that search. It is best to use more narrow searches for your titles and tags which it looks like you've done. If you aren't getting searches for the keywords you've used then try others. I had to narrow down my keywords for my Swarovski items too. There are just too many.

I've been improving my tags and titles this past weeks and acoording to this tool they're pretty relevant. My views have dropped to zero again though, so I don't know what's right or wrong anymore and if this tool and all the ways you can improve a shop are any use.

This tells me no listing belong to One Blue Dragonfly, sure would explain why
I always have less than ten views.

Someone in another thread told me this tool is in beta mode which means it's still being tested so not to take results as gospel.

If in doubt do a search yourself using a phrase or tag and see where you show up. I have 8 engagement rings listed and this tool didn't show any of them at all as existing but they do show up in a search I just did within the first 8 pages so...

Hi again!
For high competition searches : example "hair accessories"
Daily I have to renew products, and as Mary states the tool only shows 20 pages (many times items are still relevant yet beyond the 20 pages)

It helps to renew the products you normally see for high competition keyword phrases. Should you have to renew for searches that contain relevant tags? Debatable I suppose

If you use search ads than you are likely to pay in clicks, it's a matter of preference. Honestly I find using wall-e daily for my niches and renewing more cost effective than search ads.

My personal experiences with search ads were not so great therefor renewing for me produces enough sales I can justify the 2-5 dollars renewing each day.

One person mentioned the jewelry category test and that is true - etsy has admitted a test is running that hides items in sub categories of the jewelry.

I think it may still be in BETA mode, but I think it still offers some great tools for your shop. I love the tools by Blugrin!

As far as beta is concerned - I know how hard the developer works to offer free tools to us sellers....Etsy are conducting tests with the search results - as such, the app developer is watching and tweaking the code as Etsy makes further changes. Once Etsy stop testing, the BETA tag will be removed.

I agree with you Dee :) There's a reason I hit my 10,000 sales two months ago on this shop. 10,777 sales I actually was so busy I missed my 10k party. LOL. https://www.blugrin.com

I just spent hours on tools4etsy.com and reworked my tags and my titles, and it's still not bringing me up on the first 20 pages of searching, even when the keyword I entered on the tool was the first word of many of my titles. I feel so deflated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
