Requesting Shop Critiques

Hello fellow Etsy-ians!

I have 2 Etsy shops, a jewelry supply and a jewelry shop. I would LOVE shop critiques! I have about 50-70 items in each shop, and have been changing key words etc.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Re: Requesting Shop Critiques

First Jodi. . .I really love your jewelry designs, so unique and not the norm of what you see on etsy. I also love the way you display your jewelry, your backdrops are very interesting. The only thing I might suggest is that if you have a jewelry design that has brown tones, maybe think about not displaying that piece on a backdrop with the same colors. . .you don't want your beautiful jewelry to get lost in the background. Other than that, wonderful shop.

I looked at your tags and I think they look good. You might think about adding a little more description in your tags rather than one word tags. I struggle with that myself and I hate getting really wordy, but I've been critiqued and told that adding more descriptive tags could help me get seen more than I am.

I just recently opened my vintage shop and am really struggling with photos and such. . .I have had a mosaic shop on etsy for 2 years, and I feel I am spending so much more time on this vintage shop than designing my mosaic art. I love my art and I am sacrificing that for a shop with so much competition. It's a little crazy. Anyway, blessings for a multitude of sales and I really love your work.

Rose

Re: Requesting Shop Critiques

Hi Rose,
Thank you so much for taking the time to critique my shop! I really appreciate it!
...and the compliments!
i am working on using more descriptive keywords. its taking some time to get to everything!
I was wondering if my photo backgrounds were ok. I like them, but wasnt sure how they were coming across.... I will definitely make sure there is a bit more contrast to the items/backgrounds moving forward.
I went to take a peek at your shop, but looks like its down. Is your mosaic shop still up? I would love to take a look!
Thanks again, and have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Jodi
