Question about my picture style...

Hi Friends!
So a quick questions for y'all...
I've been taking a photo of the bags I make styled with an outfit and accessories, then using it in my listing photos (partially so they might get pinned more often and to create more content for my facebook page). Question is, as a buyer would you like to see this in a listing? I feel like it might give the buyer a good perspective on size and what not.
Anyway, please feel free to be honest!
If you'd like to see examples, my newest listing (green bag) has the styled photo in the last photo spot.

I love it! Your pictures are gorgeous. I think you're right that those styled photos are pin-worthy. I'd love to know if you have success with it. I've been trying to think of ways to improve my Pinterest page.

Kimberly, first, your pics are fantastic. I took a quick look only, but was very impressed. Partly because they're good pics, partly because they give more than one perspective on the bag - super useful to the customer who can't pick it up to examine it. And, your shot with the mannequin made sense to me too. Very cool!

Having said that - I expected to see the bag "worn" on a clothed model or mannequin - not the "styled" shot with various other objects. That one was... moderately interesting. I don't know if it's more pinnable because of the other objects - my personal preference is for the one with the mannequin!

I bet you're going to get a lot of different opinions - which may or may not be helpful...!

-Amanda, I'll be sure to keep you posted if my Pinterest starts to take off because of it : ) I love Pinterest but it eludes me as to how I can get my pins found in searches...

-Jen, I'm so happy to know that the maniquen shot is helpful! I use to do a lot of styled shots on an actual person and I love doing that, it just seems that I have to find more time in the day lol! And my other fear of the styled photo that Im using now is that the other objects might distract a bit from the bag, so you made a very good point!
