Question about circles.....?

Okay when someone adds me to their circle they see all of my favorites and what else??
Also when i add someone to my circle do i see their favs? Do they see mine?
If you have a huge cirlce how do you keep up with all of the notifcations?
c'mon circle pros help this girl out : )

I don't think you see any more by having someone in your circle than you would see just by visiting their shop. I think it's more a way to connect with people you might not otherwise have connected with. I have a hard time keeping up with all the activity in the feed and I'm only in 44 circles! And I wish I knew a way to get out of one person's circle because I swear she must sit around all day and all night adding people to her "circle" - her activity chokes my feed day and night! :( So basically what I do is when I check my activity feed, I uncheck the box that includes all activities in your circles and just leave the ones for my shop and me checked - that narrows it down considerably to the ones I'm most interested in. I do find that by looking at the activity feed I discover things I might not have seen on my own, so it's good in that respect. Just sometimes I don't have the time to look at it all, esp. the lady who sits at her computer day and night - I think the last time I looked she was in about 10,000 circles!! What's the point???? Sorry, I'm being a party pooper here. I do enjoy everyone else in my circles, though - it's fun to see their favorites and their Treasuries. Hope that helps.

Hey Becky and Kimberly - I know that lady :) She's in my circle too! - I wonder if ETSY could add additional social networking function to circles so you can say group your circle by category and send messages to groups to get tips - I happily add people when I can - especially customers when they favorite something of mine, but honestly its purpose at the moment is not clear. I'm hoping down the road it will become a useful social networking tool -

I don't find it at all necessary to keep up with the feed on my circle. I usually will quickly check "my shop" first to see if my shop or items were included in any activity, and then click back to "all feed" and scan through a page or two quickly.

What shows up in your circle feed that is visible to others is: items, shops or treasuries you've favorited, and treasuries you've created.

There are a couple of shops in my circle that create amazing treasuries, and I always enjoy seeing those. Since I admit I don't spend much time browsing through Etsy, seeing what other people favorite and curate in treasuries has been the easiest way for me to find awesome items and shops to favorite.

A suggestion: if someone includes your item in a treasury, add it to your favorites. That way, it will show up in your circle feed and will get more exposure (both your item and the treasury - a win-win). Most people don't do this, which is unfortunate.
