Promoting Treasuries

i wonder how people promote their treasuries so they end up rated' hot'
have you seen how many views??

any tips in promoting your treasury??

I think some "curators" belong to special groups and they support each other on their Treasuries, thus the 100's of clicks & views.

When I first joined Etsy, I though that only the HOT Treasuries get picked for the Front Page, but then discovered that was not true.

Just yesterday,for instance, I counted many Front Page Treasuries curated by members with almost no feedbacks and some with very few "clicks" & "Views".

Probably wont make it to the Front Page, but one can only hope. :-)

Is there a way to know if an item has made it to the font page? ... of course I'm secretly hoping that one of mine has made it & I've just missed its debut ;)

If you'll get out of the sudden a lot of views and hearts, check the treasuries you've been featured in, if the same thing happened to one of them, you made it :))

You can see if your treasury or a treasury you've been in has been featured on the front page at http://www.craftcult.com/vault.php then search for member. As far as promoting, join teams that will let you self promote like

http://www.etsy.com/teams/7361/etc
http://www.etsy.com/teams/7695/craftcult
http://www.etsy.com/teams/7255/in-the-market-2day
and there are tons more. In these teams you can create a thread for your treasury or add your treasury to a thread already posted for treasuries.
There are also other teams focused on making treasuries with other members of that team like

There are lots of other teams like this too, just make sure to read the rules before joining.
You can also promote in chatrooms, facebook, twitter, tumblr, blogs, etc.. Just try not to be too spammy this will turn people off from you and your shop.
