Promoting Help?

Every time I have considered promoting an item in my shop the slots are always taken. When do the new slots open up? If I am online is there a particular time that they will open for me to grab one? Does anyone have feedback on the effectiveness of promoting that way? THANK YOU!!!!!:)

I have never really found it worth my money to do it.
Since, I have done it several times. I kind of feel like it is a waste of money.

I agree.. I haven't had success with it either. I think the best thing to do is re-list items often and work on creating solid tags and titles.
